How to Overcome Dry Skin on Hands
Dry skin on the hands must be treated so that the discomfort it causes does not interfere with your activities. Here are some ways to deal with dry skin on your hands:
1. Apply moisturizer
To prevent and treat dry skin, apply moisturizer all over your body, including your hands, after every shower and before going to bed.
It is also recommended that you apply a moisturizer after washing your hands so that the skin of your hands is moisturized again. There are various moisturizers that can be used, but you should choose one that contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, and shea butter.
If you feel that the method above is not enough to deal with dry skin, you can apply petroleum jelly to your hands before going to bed, then wrap using cotton gloves overnight. The next day, your skin will feel moisturised and smoother.
2. Using gloves
So that the dry skin you are experiencing doesn't get worse, you should use gloves when doing activities that can trigger dry skin. When washing dishes, for example, it is recommended that you wear gloves so that the natural oils on your skin are not eroded by water.
When you have to come into contact with chemicals, too. Even when traveling to cold climates, you also need to use gloves.

3. Using mild soap
Try to check again the soap used for bathing or washing hands. If the soap used contains detergent, sodium lauryl sulfate, perfume, then you should stop using it.

4. Maintain diet
Hand skin health also needs to be maintained from the inside, so you are advised to adopt a healthy diet and consume lots of water.
